Interviewer to Yuko: Which member’s progress are you currently looking forward to?
Yuko: There are many good girls, there are many but… I want Takamina to do her best (laughs)
Interviewer: I see, I think Takahashi-san will have much to bear as General Manager after your graduation.
Yuko: Yes, for the past 2 years I have been trying to lighten Takamina’s luggage as much as possible. But since I am graduating, I think more members will understand how I feel. Members like Yokoyama Yui, Kawei and Sayanee might possibly be thinking “I’ll do something for Takamina-san”.
YUKO BEAUTIFUL WORDS THAT SAY, IN THE LAST 2 YEARS YOU cared about Takamina AND NOT FIGHT FOR CENTER AS YOUR RIVAL LEFT AND THE ONLY THING YOU WERE HELPING MINDED Takamina ARE THE BEST!
YUKO I LOVE YOU!
Sasuga! I HOPE YUIHAN, Sayane OR KAWAEI WHAT WILL!
Takamina NOT ALONE :3

I know it may not seem like it judging by my tumblr, but Yuko was the reason I even became an AKB48 fan. She is honestly, one of a kind and I can’t help but feel a sense of emptiness now it’s dawned on me she’s actually graduated and isn’t coming back. But I see her graduation as one of positivity, because now she can fully put all her effort into being the best actress she has always wanted to be and knowing that makes me want to support her more than ever. So, as a tribute to Yuko I made this little collage. It contains hundreds of pictures of Oshima Yuko dating back to as early as 2000 when she was still a child actress and model. There are images of her debuting as a Team K member with AKB48 in 2006 and showcasing most of her career as one of Japan’s most influential idols. It also shows images of Yuko’s graduation announcement.
Thank you for everything Yuko. Goodbye and Good luck…
